This afternoon Keaira's Mum brought in some Huhu grubs. Keaira talked about the Huhu grubs and explained that they had burried their home in the piece of wood where they were found and that their poo was even orangey in colour. She told us that that turn into huhu beetles. Some children in our class even know some people who have eaten a huhu grub! We have the challenge of finding out any extra facts about the bugs and we will share these tomorrow morning with the class.
